well my friend what u call a solid structure i call design flaw..
if u wanna see some good design check out SI u can see that all the supporting parts of the stucture form a triangle type form,and prevent any kind of flex implementing rigidity in the solid structure of the cage...

and by solid structure u mean a cage that is only suporte by 2 spots wich are in the upper part of the cage and the rest of the cage falls by the stator cove part of the engine wich hits first in case of a fall and flexes under the presure and weight of the bike on the fairings and stator cover or engine parts because it has a solid structure...

he nearly had me convinced till you said this... makes sense, my main thing with the tygershark is that its 2 pieces and i dont really like that.

actually the only bad things you will hear about fi is that if its on anything but a honda it sucks... anyone i know that has an f4i or 600rr and FI has had no problems. The reason its sitting around is because i got a free sick cage and it looks better on my fully restored bike. But props on the sick cage! I havent even ridden with my new one yet so i cant give you any info
