Smile Anybody got any reviews on moto-heaven / Thrust Company?

Hey i been stuntin stock for a while now on my DinoAce
(97 YZF1000R ThunderAce)
I just got comfortable so I'm going to a stunt set-up as far as my sprockets go. \
I'm looking for best cost and want to get it quick. I was refered to moto-heaven / Thrust Company by a friend that saw them on fleabay. I wanted to see if anyone has delt wit them or can point me in a good direction. They quoted me roughly 250.00 to my door in MD 20747 for front and rear and a chain cus it's time to replace anyway. Hey if anyone can beat it let my know. I'm all about supporting Stunters and thier shops. And ready to buy.

I already know a thunderace is nowhere near the I ideal stunt bike.
But hey I think like this I'll rip it on this till I got the cash for another Gixxer and be just that much better.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Anybody got any reviews on moto-heaven / Thrust Company?

i think having a steel chain, steel front sprocket, and a aluminum back sprocket is the stupidest combination that does not mix. 1 day you go to grease your chain and realize you have teeth missing from that bastard. its happened to me and its happened to my friends too. 6061 t6 composite shmosite, doesnt matter. its freakin aluminum no matter how you slice it. who gives a **** about unsprung rotating mass? a darn crash cage weighs like 20 lbs. why do they make sprockets out of aluminum but dont they make chains out of aluminum? cause it will kill you!

Re: Anybody got any reviews on moto-heaven / Thrust Company?

have heard the stories too.... i have run a aluminum vortex on my 8 second drag bike with no problems and over 500 passes.

i think it is user error on chain adjustment for the most part. yes steel is harder, but if you can apply 200 + HP to an aluminum sprocket, what would a 130 hp 600cc bike make a difference.... IMO

I don't think it's the same guy; Moto-Heaven/Thrust has been around awhile and has a great reputation. He supports stuntriders and was one of the first guys making the larger sprockets.

I just bought a Thrust 56 tooth. I love it. Way lighter than my stock but still very strong.

phil has sponsored me since the start....fantastic fella......makes quality ****, i've been running the same aluminum sprocket for a few years, i swap between two of them due to different color paint on the two, but they haven't worn a bit.
