MSR Clutch settings???

So i have tried the MSR pro raptor Clutch and no luck. i have tried all the settings to make it a easier pull on my 94 900rr and nothing works. i have tried the other mods i have seen here like the F4I clutch arm mod and that didnt work so well.
My clutch didnt fully engage. anyone have any ideas on what i can do???

Re: MSR Clutch settings???

so with ur clutch lever its not making it easier or its not engaging. if its not engaging you have to adjust the cable with the adjustment on the lever itself and if its not enough you can do it at the other end of the cable right at the case

Re: MSR Clutch settings???

theres 3 places on the msr to put the clutch cable. make sure you put it in the hole closes to the handlebar and then you have to make sure that the little dial/needle thing is pointed to the spot closest to the bar as well. if u dont have all that matched up the ez pull will not work right. if u hvae an older bike you might need a new clutch cable too, they get shitty after a few years.

Re: MSR Clutch settings???

if you've got the msr set up right, and you've done the f4i clutch mod, then your clutch is prob out. check that homie. other than that, or a faulty cable, your setup should be perfect

maybe your clutch cable is too old and dirty inside, you might want to lube it or get a new one.

i will try to adjust the settings again but with the stock stuff it all works fine. the clutch is still good just wasn't fully engaging. it was getting harder to pull with the MSR not easier.
