Does anyone know how much paint is needed to paint a whole bike? Also i need a website to buy paint from. I tried to search for it however the webs dont have good paint (PPG).

Im repaintin both my bikes, and i still need a place to buy the paint. Im deployed and someone else is painting them. So i gotta oder the paint online. u got any recomendations

just did an f4i, 8 cans of spray paint and one can of autozone clear. comes out nice as ****! I'll take pictures when its all done

I paint my bike every year it takes a pint of color and a pint of clear. You have to reduce the color 1 to 1.

+1 about 1 quart of sprayable material (1 pint color, 1 pint reducer) should be plenty (base), same goes for clear (1 quart of sprayable material).

my honest opinion is, from the sounds of things, whoever is painting your bike doesnt know what they are doing. any painter or even prep for that matter knows where to find and how much material they will need to refinish a bike.

you won't find ppg or dupont paint online. autobodytoolmart.com has house of kolor, kirker(good stuff for the money) plus a few other brands. 1 qt. sprayable would be enough to shoot everything once, might be worth getting extra though incase mistakes happen.
