03 04 636 Fan mod..

Thought id post up what i just did..

I bought an 07 R6 fan as they are the smallest i have found and push the most air ..
So i had to turn the senser 180 to fit the fan in..
Then i had to figure out the best positioning for the fan..Built my brackets for it and bolted it up. once that was done i mounted it up ran my wires and switch and done.. So ill run the R6 Fan at all times while riding and leave the stock fan to turn on if i need it while riding..
So i have just rebuilt my waterpump. $65 and rapped my headders to my mid pipe $62 and did the fan mod $50. So im hoping my bike runs alot cooler and better for the 09 season. Oh and my head cover gasket was leaking so i had to replace that as well. $20
Sorry about the picturs i had to take them with my iphone..

Once i get my new radiator ill have the brackets welded to it to mount the fan..

Re: 03 04 636 Fan mod..

Nice job. Does anyone know how to wire up their stock fan direct so you can turn it on and off when ever but it will still kick in under temp if you forget to turn it on.

Re: 03 04 636 Fan mod..

That thing is going to run cool as ICE!

My old beater had a single manual fan. I was constantly worrying that I left the fan on but still worth it. An auto fan for the streets and and a manual fan for the lot =
