Rear psi for highway wheelies
First off, Im sorry If this was already posted but I've searched and cant seem to find anything,
plus the search function on this forum doesnt work too well (maybe just me?)
Anyway... my question is, what is a safe all around psi for rear tire? I noticed around
20-25 seems very wobbly on the highway? What do you guess run?
Thanks

Re: Rear psi for highway wheelies
Honestly, on the highway...ive found a lot of diffrent pressure works....The way I sort of found out was that one night I relized I had a screw in my tire about 30-40 miles from home, and didnt want to stop riding..... it was a BEAUTIFUL night, and the riding was amazing...so I said **** it, and I knew I had a truck to get my bike if all else fails...so I would air it up to around 40psi at a gas station and ride it for alomost an hour till about 8psi....EVERYTHING feels diffrent at diffrent speeds...but its all up to you...whatevers comfortable....to me, the higher the air pressure, the further back you had to bring it to reduce the wobble..and/or the slower you had to go to make the wobble go away....but its prob diffrent on every bike...that was on my 954...and it was a good night. lol..

you ride on a flat tire to learn, when your able to actually ride slow wheelies you wanna raise your pressure up so you can start learning to balance and steer. Im gonna go ahead and guess your wobbling problem is from your bad throttle habbits due to stunting a 4 wheeler. Its just a different ball game you will get it.

+1 the throttle control between the 2 are way different and can get you into trouble sometimes im currently running 22 psi and im not havin any wobble problem like was stated in the first post
