and oh, trust me, the dealerships are just as pissed. they now have bikes that they can't legally sell. the dealerships down here were selling them WAY below cost for the past month. i know my buddy got a full adult set up 50 with joker bars and all kinds of **** from where i used to work, for like $800... absolutely ridiculous.

 

I work at a dealership and from what I've heard they are under review because they don't know that exact lead amount. And I believe the law was meant for toys that are used in confined spaces which these are obivously not. Kawasaki has said that they will help the dealers with their flooring cost for a month. (i believe they think that this "ban" will only last for a month or two) Polaris is just changing some of the stickers on the 90's to say 13 and up but as of right now we can't even sell the 170 Razor.

 

Damn this is wild. I have a shop in MD and was thinking about ordering some of those Lifan 50's to sell. But looks like if I were to order them they'd be illegal by the time they got here if someone had there way. And just curious how many of you all have caught your kid trying to eat fifty.
