1,088,994 bikes were sold in the US in 2005 so i imagine the numbers nearly doubled in 07

 

i thought about it a little and my guess is this... in an average state there are about 3 major cities, in most of those states there is probably only one majors city out of the 3 that has stunters greater in # than 4, although in some states(eg. northeast, southwest, and south) there are quite a few stunters per capita. knowing that you can come close to solving it. going by who can catch idle my rough math works like this- 50 states=(about)150 majors cities*(avg)10 stunters per majors city+15 more per state*50 states(small rural towns and whatnot)= 2250 stunters in the USA that can catch idle(more or less).
maybe i'm way off

that being said if you consider the number of motorcyclists in the US
"As of 2001, there were 4,903,056 motorcycles in use in the United States". believe it or not you all are a very small percentage

there are 30 people i know in the pensacola Fl panhandle panama city area that stunt real **** doing circles Bp idle not ignant fools like the craigslist teacher id say there are alot more like 50,000+ nationwide its a bigger phenominom (sp) im ignant than we give it credit for every town/city has one at least in it

stuntlife has around 70,000 members... so you figure around 30,000 of them members are ACTUALLY stunt riders and IN the u.s. ... then add 10,000 to that for the people that can stunt but dont come on here.

in my town of 100k, 2-3 ppl can catch idle consistently including me
