Ive used bolth. MX bars will give alot of leverage but if your tall with long arms you will be hanging way off the back of the bike. And it takes its tole on your arms real quick.that is the reason i went back to clipons some Vortex turned out is nice for me. If i was short i would of loved the dirt bars
