Re: Ready for THORPE 540 BARS or INFINITY BARS & how much are they worth??
UPDATE:
The bars are coming along.
I've had a few changes in the total setup:
1. I will offer them to use with your existing clipon clamps BUT!!!
you have to drill a small hole in your clipon and put a set screw in ( Drill & tap provided ). I don't
want any chance of movement.
2. I will offer different stages for use with your existing aftermarket
clipons:
T2 - will give you adjustable degree only.
T4 - will give you adjustable rise with slight adjustability in degree and position on fork (front to rear) <<< Havoks future setup
T6 - will give you full adjustment of every axis
T8 - This is the sweet setup, my own clipons.
They aren't ready for mass production yet but they are the magic trick.
T8's can be used with the other parts T2 & T4 to give you full adjustability.
My clipons will offer:
Stage 1. "0" degree fixed
Stage 2. adjustable degree
Stage 3. "0" degree with adjustable rise
Stage 4. Full adjustment
You can start off small and work your way up in adjustment with no wasted money or parts.
I am at these things full force along with a full time job so please be patient.
Once I can hand these over to someone else for production I will be ready to deal!
I do not want to take money for parts that aren't finished and in my hand so when I start selling them they will go out within a day of purchase Priority Mail.

Re: THORPE 540 bars or infinity bars & how much are they worth??
ahhh ****, a patent is bad news, it allows ANYBODY to search it and VIEW the design and specs and then all they have to do is change the design slightly to make it legal.
EDIT nevermind I just saw the pictures of it on this thread. so you manually machine it? props to the OG technique, not too many people know how to run a manual mill and lathe these days

I'm gonna need all the help I can get to get them out there.
I'll hit you up as soon as I see a date for production.

I've tried to keep them simple for cost but simple to make means simple to copy
As far as the machining, thanks, I love that **** I wish I could do it full time......
Maybe one day
I've beefed them up since that design to
I will have them for sale as soon as things get worked out for production.
I have a machine shop working up the quote for mass production right now so I'm waiting to hear back from them this week.
I will only sell what I have in hand. No waiting on parts to be made, shipped etc.. You buy them, they ship out within a day.
That's the way I do my business.
Thanks for everyones interest!!!!!!

I'm looking at 2 months or less if everything goes as planned. If i had the tools to do the whole setup efficiently they would be for sale today
I hope I don't get banned for telling everybody once they're ready in every thread on the board
