how long to feel confident with 1 finger clutch-hb

I suck...get that out the way. Just started trying but A-it kills my wrist and B-**** happens so fast. Anyways yes I will go practice, just wondering peoples thoughts and how long it took to become natural... o' Im still working on the rear brake and getting ok Like I finally 12 and scrapped but fell of like a *** but getting there. I had a 954 and learning was slow. bought killswitch' bike and in 2 days am getting alot more comfortable

Re: how long to master 2 finger clutch brake

are you talking about 1 finger on clutch and one on HB at the same time? i only learned that way and it got even eaisier when i got a stronger handbrake for my weak ***.

Re: how long to master 2 finger clutch brake

HB on my bike was really touchy and that wasn't a problem .but the clutch with one finger was a pain in the ***. just keep doin it and workin that hand.

my throttle forearm and hand used to burn so bad but after a few weekends it started settling down. same thing with the 2finger HB/clutch ****

Re: how long to master 2 finger clutch brake

With an easy pull clutch lever and a good strong hand brake you should have it down in just a couple sessions.

Re: how long to master 2 finger clutch brake

It took me no time to get 'used' to it, and able to clutch straight to a stall or somthing

but I still haven't even attempted a coaster with my hand brake..
but mainly because my hand brake sucks and I don't think my bikes gonna come back down without engine brake

****......I guess I'll be the first to admit that a year ago I honestly didn't think I had the coordinaton to EVER get used to "two finger" operation of the HB and clutch, but here I sit a year later and I now feel pretty damn good doin it........time and dedication, man....you'll get it.

Re: how long to feel confident with 1 finger clutch-hb

When I first started using my HB I practiced skidding around the lot - pulling the clutch in with one finger and then mashing on the brake with the other. Once I was able to do that I did FIB wheelies using the HB and then back pegs then SS. It took me 2 days to get comfortable with it. Good luck

+1

I didnt get a handbrake untill i could tear up footbrake. Otherwise its too much to try to grasp both hand and footbrake concepts. It took like 2 hours riding to be "confident" after having footbrake nailed.
