How do you load your bike

ive been lookin up ramps online and cant decide what to get
ill be riding by myself most of the time. and want an easy set of ramps (angle)

when i load my f4i now i put a piece of plywood on my front porch steps roll the bike into my living room then back my truck up to the steps and use the plywood from the porch to the truck. its a pain in the *** the piece of plywood is only 3' x 4 '

what do you use?!?!

PICS would be nice

i use a ramp from pepboys. put the bike in gear, and stand next to it, drive it up into the back of my truck and step up into it as the bike rolls up in there. GRAVY

Re: How do you load your bike

I bought these off ebay. I keep the bike in gear and walk up the one ramp quick while using the other ramp to get the bike up. Im eventually gonna ride up the one ramp but the first day I tried I busted my *** and almost got crushed by my bike So thats been on hold for a minute haha.

Thats why I bought the ones from ebay that come with 2 ramps. Size done matter if you got a ramp to walk up. Plus I wouldnt wanna buy the ramp you posted w the yami on it coz it doesnt fold up. And you should also get a arched ramp coz depending on the incline, your cage might bottom out when loading the bike

Re: How do you load your bike

the black on i posted i got from home depot. 55 each. they are folding and arched. so its easier to load up. just go to home depot or lowes and ask for folding ramps.

Re: How do you load your bike

Man what an ordeal just to load up your bike! How do you get it down and back up at the lot then?

What you could do is just nail a couple 2x4's up to the backside of your plywood to make a stiffback kind of on it. Just to add some rigidity to it ya know.

And I haul a shitty little trailer only big enough for two bikes max, and a ramp I welded out of some old shelving material. Works great, but I used to knock it off the end of the trailer with my FI cage loop on my gix all the time... ONe time I almost got crushed too, but I was doin everything with the phone in my ear! LOL

didn't stop my conversation nor did I drop the phone either! Actually the only thing I dropped was that ****** FI cage in the mail to somebody else!
