but i'm really lucky that the tail gate is only like a foot over a loading dock.. and all loading docks are the same height.. I keep my bike at the plant where i work and the lot that i ride at has an abandoned building that i use there loading dock to unload.. so unless they got a loading dock.. i gotta hitch a ride with someone!

My boy O, Has a lifted truck too. He got some extra long ramps and losd his bike using two of them. Or you can go outragous and get air bags on just filp a switch.

Me and a couple buds grab an end and lift. I have tall friends so I haven't really found a truck I can't make it into the back of.

Re: How do you load your bike

I have a 3" drop in the rear on my YotaMini. So, loading is a breeze.

I used to have a F350 with a 9 inch lift and loaded my bike in all the time. just parked on a small slant, a 9 foot ramp, and a 2 foot ladder. Loaded it myself all the time.

Just crank the idle to like 6 grand and walk it up.

Now I have a F350 with a 6 inch lift and do the same thing. the 3 inches made a big difference. can park anywhere i want now and dont have a problem loading.

Re: How do you load your bike

I got two small curved ramps, look like this

they got a little more curve to it though, but its super easy to load up a bike, just walk up the ramp with the bike in gear. I had to haul my buddys lowered gixxer and his lower fairing BARELY brushed by on the tailgate.

Re: How do you load your bike

use atv ramps, or 2 ramps

walk down one ramp, use the other ramp for your bike

And to load it just ride it up the ramp

easy as pie

Your going to ride wheelies (probably illegally, probably trespassing) and your worried about plates and insurance?

word, my bikes not clean titled, so cant risk getting caught on the street. The new law here in Bama calls for a $500 ticket (or something close to that) if you get caught with no insurance.

plus, if your like me, the closest spot is about 55 miles away

That's sweet. You can ride the bike up with that ramp. Where did you get it?

Re: How do you load your bike

Don't know if any of you have a harbor freight tools locally....but I picked up this tri fold on sale a couple months ago for $99, and it works better than any I have ever used, easy for one person to walk up each side with the bike, or load by yourself. I have had a heavy custom harley on it as well and it didn't bend a bit, pretty dang strong for the price.

Super-Wide Tri-Fold Loading Ramp

One ramp handles your ATV, lawn tractor or motorcycles.

Re: How do you load your bike

Man im 5 '8" and load both my 1000 and my f4i by myself. W 1 standard db ramp in both stock height silverado and s10..

Get some nuts between ur legs practice a few tiMes and jus do it. Pik up soft straps and itll make the job 100xs easier. Also try strappin the ramp tight agai st the bed so it dont go shootin out on u if ur squidly w the clutch...

Btw i ride both bikes in unless im puttin 2 in the truk. Then i stand next to truck and guide it in
