man...my battery tray is ghetto as ****. one side is held on by a zip tie, and the other has a series of washers that hold it on. it works great though.

I just made one that is built into the subframe.

Ian... have you ever thought about that. one that replaces the stock battery Tray?

Mine only added like maybe 1/2lb. also made it more sturdy.

We added an additional brace to the bottom of the subframe that will support the weight of the battery tray. even if you stock tray is trash, it should be plenty sturdy. Good idea with the tray though.

your right i dont know the whole story i just know that cutler does make a bad *** product weather or not you guys had some issue or problem thats not my place to get into. i know i would run cutlers sub before sicks and i wont run a sick cage period on a 636 and if its a r6 id run cutler bar any other bike it would be sicks. my reasoning for this is when i lived with his sponsered rider (you know the dangle) and we both had 636's i S bent 3 sick cages in 3 months and he bent 2 besides his own sponsered rider giving him info when i called him and told him where the bends were suggested some ideas ian basically blow me off and didnt want to even work with me on some kind of discount being that i was about to order a 4th cage in 4 months. so i said **** it i switched to a real cage company TYGERSHARK and for just alil more money (less the 2 sick cages) i got a cage with impact obsorbers and a LIFETIME WARRANTY and never had to even think about my cage when going for a trick.

i also didnt mention above how sick cages being that its a round pipe on a flat surface wrecking causes the all-thread to sheer and **** your frame all up.

all im saying is luckly ther are companys out there like tygershark and C4 that make and design a product the best and strongest way for each model it will be used on instead of building a cage/sub cage for one bike it working well and then expecting it work just same for every other bike and not taking into consideration that everything is diffrent

but that was my
thanks for giving me something to ramble all high about!

that is a killer idea because basically its bracing and gives you less bolts and crap to deal with anyways
