2002 F4i project.

I am helping a friend of mine build this bike from a wrecked piece of **** into a dime stunt piece. This is the progress so far, we had to stop because we ran out of **** to do waiting on parts to show up.

The tank dent

The new cut fairings (they were cracked

The clean air mod. Does it look right?

The passenger seat, how does it look? Any help on this would be cool, I had never done this before.

I keep trying to tell him that SI is mo betta, but we already have the FI cage, so we were gonna go with an FI 12 bar, and an OMR subcage. I can't remember what rearset right now, its early and I am getting ready for court.

Any help with what all electrical **** from the front end we can do away with would be cool, might as well leave the gauges off.

Re: 2002 F4i project.

You can mount the guagues under the tank, right above the rear shock mount. Thats were mine are, that away the fan still work w/o needing a switch and it still keeps track of miles. It is a tight fit but will work. You can see the guages in the bottom right of the pic, they are upside down

Re: 2002 F4i project.

your gauges have nothing to do with your fan turning on.

Re: 2002 F4i project.

If the guages are not plugged in the fan will not turn on when the motor gets hot.
