Idle problems all of a sudden....

Alrighty...... all of a sudden my idle changes from when I am in N to when I go into gear. It is also a lil harder to get it to neutral..... so maybe have to adjust clutch cable near the clutch cover (how do I do so?). All I have put on is an MSR clutch perch..... and that is it. Any ideas?

And, problem number 2......

I have just put on the rear hand brake...... however, it sounds like my rear pads are dragging... or that the piston is constantly pushing on those pads. I have no idea why they would, but they definitely sound like it.

My bike is coming along fine... it is just these couple of things. Please help.

if your handbrake feels tight at all times take a look at this thread its probably your problem as I had the same problem myself

and your clutch is probably still slightly engaging. play around with the adjuster and get it right

Re: Idle problems all of a sudden....

Yeah...as said above, it seems that your idle problem is due to a slight engagement of the clutch. Loosen it up till you have an 1/8" of free-play in the lever, then you should be good. Sorry, no advice for the HB problem, though.
