has anyone tried these knock off brembos on ebay ?? i have a buddy that wants to try one .. i dont think its a good idea but i wanted to see if anyone was using them

 

they work better than the real ones but not as good as a clutch master cylinder off a ZX7R.

my buddy bought one like 5 months ago, works fines he says, but with those its hit or miss when you order, i heard people say they suck and i heard peeps say they worth it, so its a chance

 

ive bought a few and never had an issue with them. they work awesome! for the money they are worth a shot thats for sure!

they're cheap material...i just got one and the adjuster screw stripped out while bleeding it. it held pressure pretty well but faded quick after 5-10mins. i had mine all of a month maybe...anyone want for cheap?? lol

 

i got one and its the best master ive used yet ,my dude has the real thing and i like the feel of mine even better .works gangsta 1 finger, its definetly worth the 50 bucks

 

Thet do work but the forging and internals are terrible. There is no quality control with them so you never know ur getting

 

Hit or miss. I ordered a couple just for a deal. And one broke. In a day or 2. The adjuster is all. One works great. I have better feel than some of my friends real Brembos. But who knows if they are as **** about bleeding as I am. But like they said before. You aren't getting the same quality. As for how they work, mine is 100% ALL the time. With no brake fade. But if you have the cash, get the real thing.

 

yeah +2 its really not worth it to buy just one i bought 2 and one was bad and one was good and I ended up only using it on my 70 cc dirtbike anyway.

get a 1000rr master and call it a day

 

Mine is for my 4 wheeler handbrake. 1000rr is definitely a good choice. Had one of those before too. If you can get one for the price of a frembo, get the 1000rr.

 

yeah for the price plus shipping of the frembo you can get a used 1000rr master on ebay and mine is a ******* rock

 

Also if your buying a real Brembo on Ebay make sure its from a reputable seller. There are alot of sellers on Ebay claiming that the Brembo MC's are real but they are the knock off. All real Brembo masters will have the model# and size stamped at the base of the lever. For example it will say 16x18, 19x18 or 19x20 for etc..

We sell alot of the Brembo MC's on Ebay which we get direct from Brembo and alot of sellers always ask us how to identify the real ones because they've been burned before.

I ran one for a hand brake and hated it. very gooshy and not much bight compared to the gsxr1000 radial. HOWEVER, I also used one on the front brakes and LOVED it. Nice bite and made endo's kinda slide up pretty nice instead of the usual pogoing I tend to do.

 

i just use 05-08 R6 or newer R1 radial master, they are made by brembo.
they are not as good as the high end after market brembos, but imo they are way better that a "Frembo", if you look hard enough you can find them for the same price as the frembo or cheaper.
