aight i ride an 05 636 just set it up this past summer for lots but didn't touch the gearing i'm not good still learning how to slow down and learn my balance point better, i'm wondering if i should change my gearing for this summer? i have a problem with being thottle happy i know i need to just practice all summer, i do ride the streets alot so should i change my gearing or just stay stock and turn up my idle?

i used to have a 06 636 and i ran 10+ and rocked the streets and the spot its was an all around good gearing for me when i rode had to get out for alil while for school and few broken bones when i flipped a endo but i liked the 10+

thanks should i go all 10 in the rear or -1 front +7 in back?

My friend rocks out that same bike with stock gears. hes good to go everywhere but the parkin lot. First learnin Slow speed lot tricks go +10 in the rear

got the same bike and she loves the 60th rear,tried a 50th at first and just wasnt enough for sum stuff.it wanted to lag on sum circles.put the 60 on and its golden !!

I rode my '05 stock for about a month before I changed the sprocket. I went +7. I'm still learning slow stuff too. I'm usually in the lot and very occasionally the streets. It's fun either way but I find myself wanting a little more. I say go -1/+7, you'll like it.

my 05 is +10, is good in the lot with enough top end for the street.

what should i set my idle at? and whats the top speed with +10?

i usually set mine at about 2500-2750 and once i got it to bp didnt have to play with the brake that much just give it a lil gas and slip the clutch and cover your rear brake you will have to get used to the bp once you get it down it will be like second nature to you and i used my body wieght to make up some of the differance and the top speed was probably 100-120 im not really sure didnt have the gauges on when i made it street fighter

youll just have to play with it and get the feel for it. i got to where i just got used to the tone of the motor
