I have a 08 rr. Im still learnin but i figure everybody says its harder to learn **** on the rr so why not try it. Dont get me wrong i would like to have a older f4i to stunt but this is what i have and this is what im going to stunt. ( or atleast try)

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

Thats what my train of thought is....But bikes wuldnt and wont sell for anything near they are worth. So its one of them things... damn if you do.. damn if you dont. Ive got a bit dne to my bike too. so someone looking for a modded bike they would be set. but I dont wanna go sell this and then realize that I dont like stunt riding. Ya know? Choices....

But if its going to make it that much harder learning on a 600rr, then why should I trash it up?
MY NEXT STUNT BIKE IS GONNA BE THE 600RR. I SAY IF YOU CAN STUNT ALREADY IT SHOULDNT BE TOO HARD A TRANSITION , BUT I DO BELIEVE THE 600RR HAS A WAY HIGHER BP THAN AN F4I

ALTHOUGH IF YOU NEVER STUNTED AN F4I YOU WONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE...SO JUST GET USED TO THE RR AND KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL HIGH ON IDLE TO LEARN CIRCLES..WITH THE RIGHT SETUP IT WILL BE GREAT

PM AARON C. AND TEACH AND SEE THEIR SETUP AS FAR AS GEARING AND IDLE...ETC.

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

Since youre keeping it, I would highly recommend doing to Idle mod, and getting an OMR Subcage. This moves the rear pegs back and out a little bit, makes it a hell of a lot more comfortable.

i hate running myself over with my bike . 600rr is a fun powerful bike i would love to get one, the only thing i dont like is the tank .the high balance point doesnt bother me.

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

Thats all I have left to get, ( omr sub, but I think I found one ) and I also have a handbrake to get also. But again from reading, people are saying get used to using the footbrake and then get the handbrake.

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

I have an '03...... and I love it! It is a little higher BP, but work with it... and get used to it. It was very tight... so I went with an OMR subcage, and that lets me lock out my leg on standups. Just finished the idle mod and clean air mod, and that helps a ton!

The tank part.... ..... a little frustrating. Shaped the actual tank in about 3 mins, perfect. As for the shell... it takes a heat gun, a buddy, some mitts, and a lil work. Maybe a bigger more powerful heat gun would make it a lil easier? ( anyone??? )

Just the few things you can do to it to make it a little easier

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

/\ Thanks for the tips. All I really need and that is left to get is the idle mod and the OMR subcage. But like I said I think I have to hookup on a cage..

Nice. Old Man Roger hooked me up from across the US in 2 days. haha.

Everything else is practice and.... practice. You have to be comfortable on your bike.

Re: Is it even worth stunting the 600rr?

yeah I bet that bike will get fucked though. Economy sucks now and no one is buying. I bought the bike and intended to race it. but after seeing how expensive it is and my risk of killing myself seems to be higher in a race versus stunt riding I went that route. I could deff sell it for some money

Its pretty much race ready... **** haah not anymore ( or when I stunt it, it wont be )
