i'm pushing for 4 piston brackets for more bikes.

an affordable one would be even better. Atown was talking about fabing up some brackets.

i would love to get them for all my bikes (R6 and 900rr)
right now my hohey is in the mail fo rthe 636, they are but pricey!!!

Re: Stunt parts inventions?

It's not stunt related. But how about a rear seat that flips upside down into a rear cowl

those are strong but mine is SO much stronger, its close to twice the pad surface area and a gix19mm has like a on/off feel with 1 caliper, but with 2 it has the same feel as a brembo16 but like twice the power.

i bet it does work good...19's are made for two cal. so i can see how it would... someone could probly fab an adapter for another caliper, providing there is enough room to fit it

Well yes, I'm high. BUT how would that not be cool? Your bike looks better with a rear cowl but how many times has a chick wanted to smash off with you but you couldn't cuz your rear seat is in your garage. Alot for me

Youch!!!!

Ok how bout "Hand laid fiberglass" seat cowls with reinforcement .

I have a cowl for a 600rr that I may try using as a refference. I wish I had a ****** bike to start making some **** up on

not that im aware of, but im guessing your are running the adapter at teh master, with a jumper between the two calipers, like OMR's set-up?

you would just put it on the bottom of the swingarm, like the newer bikes.

Re: Stunt parts inventions?

I bet it would be really easy to make a dual bracket for newer radial mount calipers maybe even for the 6 piston r1 caliper.

We know bigger rotors on the front mean more stopping power and more brake control. I think putting a bigger rotor like a front rotor on the rear with a 4 piston would be the way to go for more control, feel and power. If you can feel the front brakes enough to do endos then it would be the same & would have to be better than what we currently have to work with on the rear.

Plus some of the pad is useless when using a 4 piston on the stock rear because the radius is too different to line up. The main reason the 4 piston is better like the Hohey isn't just because of power its because of feel.

Lots of handbrakes lock the rear easy but, how much can you "feather it" up to that point??
I can handle it as is but I still want less of an "ON -OFF" feel to it.
Thats my case anyways

I had it like that but didnt like it, now its set just like front brake on most bikes, with a long line to 1 caliper(with a double banjo)and a short line from that caliper to the 2nd one

Re: Stunt parts inventions?

I have looked into getting a larger rotor on the rear. The pad dose not make full contact on the rotor there is not enough room. mine is clocked a little so it clears the wheel hub. It was not difficult to make a bracket to hold the 4 piston on my r6.
