Re: Dirt Bike bars are for dirt bikes
actually "dirtbike bars" are just called handle bars and they have been on regular street motorcycles since the beginning of motorcycles. only when racing came along did they start using clip ons for race bikes as it provided a more tucked and aerodynamic body position for the rider. many street bikes stll come with handle bars...z1000's and such. what we are doing with a supersport racing motorcycle is not what they were intended for so you the argument could be made "race bikes are for race tracks".... get what im saying.
all that being said, i think supersport motorcyles look like a hot piece of **** streetfightered and with "dirtbars" i also dont believe its any more comfortable, maybe for general riding but the same affect can be obtained through flipped clip ons. i know cuz when i first started stunting i had bars on my gsxr and i went back to clip ons and have never considered going back. image is everything in riding, you can do the hardest most tech tricks out there but if ur rocking a 900rr with no plastics and handle bars with some baggy jnco' jeans and a helmet mohawk, im going to avert my eyes away from you so i dont throw up on my crispy white shoes. "stunt riding" needs to get away from this stereotype that we ride clapped out pieces of ****.

I think you need to worry about what u ride with and shut up about ur useless hater opinion about what you think dirt bike bars should or shouldn't be on.

Re: Dirt Bike bars are for dirt bikes
No Doubt.. I'm just saying anything can go on anything. Just depends on how bad you want it. We cant leave anything ******* stock around here. As soon as he bought that bike we started cutting the damn thing apart.
And I will post pics. There has been several people do it on some old bobbers and ****. This is kind of that style.
