Here lately ive seen some "PRO" riders selling thier bikes because thier gettn a new sponcer..



But some of the guys already have a sick paint job on thier bike, kane,dan jackson,ect...

so my question is if u bought thier bike, would u hurry up and paint it, so now its UR bike not his old one, or wait till u drop it enought where it needs one, or just simply keep it the way it is....???

someone like kane's joe rocket bike(he got a name for the nice one julies i think) its got chrome everything, yea pink might be gay to some, some like it, but its sick, and even if he sold it to ya for 5000 would u go have it painted??

my thoughts...if it was something like nags old 929 that had NAGS all over it YES as soon as i got it home, but something with no name, i dont know, guess it would just depend on what it lookd like to me...

even it if was someone that had thier name on it like lets say GURU's bike...sick wrap on it, and the bike looks great but it does say GURU on the tank, the wrap is sick, so i would call the wrap shop and just have them do the tank over...

Well. It all depends.. if u dig the paint or not.. If it has someones name on it I would seriously consider it. I found out the plastics on my bike used to be Hyperriders. but I like the color and everyone digs the style so I'm probably going to repaint it the same way. So Hyperrider you just got DEBO'd LOL

 

if it had someones name on it that's a diff story. i still prob wouldn't paint it right away (rather ride, and lazy) i'll just have to keep saying NO MY NAME IS NOT ------

 

trick...well u said why buy one for 5gs when u can buy one cheeper and make it ur own, well good example dans bike is up for sale, to me its a good deal, hes got atleast 2 in aftermarket parts and its a titled bike, and it a PRO rider so u know hes not gonna **** ya on the deal...then kanes bike hell the "julies" bike has that in chrome, hes not selling it i was just using it as a example but if he did for 5gs u wouldnt buy it???

and if u would, would u take it some and paint it asap???

 

you don't undrstand...

you can buy a race bike for like 4k with nasty **** on it... i will never understand how someone can sell a bike with 1200 wheels on it and 1k in stunt parts with no headlight no tail light no signals doesn't know the millage for 6k... the bike HAS BEEN CRASHED!!!!

and to top it off most of the parts on the bike that make it worth all this money were free!!! not that he doesn't deserve to make money back but come on..... i like Dan and i like that bike but i just cant justify selling a stunt bike for more then 4500... ALL STUNT BIKES ARE ABUSED AND CRASHED.

 

if i am spending 6k on a stunt bike that thing beter looks so good that i wanna take all the stunt parts of and bring it to bike shows!!!

 

I wouldn't re paint them.

If you break down the parts Dan's got on his bike, yes it worth every penny of what he's asking for it. I wouldn't pay that much for it tho. End of the day, its another stuntbike ridden hard by a pro rider

 

i see where ur comming from trick and i can go into a little GRAY area with u on that, but ive seen bone stock 06 636 bikes on here,ebay,ect go for 6gs..yea u will have to put headlights ect to make it legit on the street but after what 500-1000 its got everything possible for less than 7


its a little on the gray with someones like dans bike because of the parts to make it street legal, and he may have the parts(i personally dont know) but to me its a good deal...

but trick does bring up a GREAT point, say someone like kane(HIGHLY SPONCERD RIDER) or darius, ect gets thier stunt parts for free, and then sells thier bikes should they be able to make the profit because its not a stock bike anymore, and now ur also buying a "PRO" bike????

but i do have a helment that i paid WAY to much for because it was nicky haydens helment (he may have wore it once ) but he did wear it so when i race with it on i feel faster, thats real stupied but true!!!

And onto the topic, I would leave it as it is. Why? Because I'm too cheap/broke/non-sponsored to ever paint a bike myself. Oh, and I think Dan's bike is worth around what he's asking. If you're looking for something like it, it would be very hard to duplicate for any less.

 

yes they should be able to that is why we live in American and not china... but what i am saying is that i got my 06 636 With 400 miles on it for 5k.. why would i buy a ABUSED stunt bike for 6K that is not streetable ??? cuz i got some rims on it... i dont think so !!!!
