If your worried about the length of the trailer you should build it to attach to the side like a sidecar.

It's not so much the fact a moped wont pull a bike (towed my friend on his 600 with a honda elite 50cc)

But its what happens when someone pulls in front of you, and you have to break hard...

Having a heavier load then your towing vehicle probably won't always end well, especially while braking and hitting turns!

i didn't read the thread, but it does say "ever haul a motorcycle with a motorcycle" and thats what i was responding to...and i don't know a lot(nothing) about scooters, so maybe i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure they have centrifical clutches.
