well, nick created the version of the trick, it should b his choice of what it is called regardless, of what Thomas or any other anouncer No offense thomas, whats to call it.
and try to look at it another way, pirouette is cool b/c it is pretty insane to do something so crazy fast like an ice skater on a 450lb motorcycle

im with you thomas , death spin is a good name for that trick and saying there is no danger in that trick makes no sense to me because i have crashed that trick in so many different ways i can't count them

highsiding one is bad especially if youre coming in hot and another way this trick can go real bad is if the bike comes back on the bar but keeps going on top of you ...

now i will admit that when done very slow or even fast but done clean it doesn't look too dangerous but it is

death spin is the best name in my opinion but kickspin sounds ok , pirouette just sounds so ballerina to me and slinging a 400 pound motorcycle around just doesn't make me think of a ballerina

Even over here "Down Under" in Australia we call it the Death spin. I think its too late to re-name it?
Alot of stunters dont come on here to get news and updates, so to change it now would be confusing.

+1 that Pirroutte sounds gay. This sport if supposed to be an Extreme sport like FMX. There are no ballerina names for tricks in FMX.

So in a sport that cripples people often, I can understand calling tricks names that inspire thoughts of bleeding out in a Mexican ER. But we can't compare ourselves to FMX as an extreme sport.

Calling Street Freestyle what it is. Not all that dangerous. How else could I ride 3 hours a day pushing it for my sport and go home month after month with little cuts and bruises? I don't go and watch Supercross, FMX, MotoGP, you name it, and afterwards talk about how manly I am. I just sit there humbled thinking wow, I really need to step it up, my sport needs some danger.

OMR if you think a pirouette is dangerous just wait for what is coming over the next couple years. That trick is riding at 1/10th.
