Ok so i finished up my 954 stoppie/streetbike, and i put the gpr on, but i can jiggle the bars, even at full hard setting.. wtf is up with that?

 

Every GPR I've ever felt has had this problem for the first few degrees (including my own).

 

might have broke the pin inside that's what was wrong with my scotts

 

how?? its brand new!Bought it from hai 2 months ago, took a while to get here cuz of customs, then just today finally finished the bike and put it on!

 

They insisted that my damper just needed to be serviced when I called and complained about this problem. I had it serviced and the problem still exists

I've tried out a few other bikes with GPRs and they all seemed to have the same problem (the lack of damping the first few degrees of movement).

 

GPR= GARBAGE.... Sorry buddy

 

thats exactly the problem and i do NOT wanna eat pavement with the minty piece!! you know i like to roll!!!

I'm going to get a rod type damper soon. No slop/no worries

 

ohlins or scotts... gpr is weird i think...

yep thats typical for a GPR......

 

Every bike i've rode with a rotary type damper i could feel initial slop

 

Unscrew the flat heads screws, put the stabilizer on setting 1, move the damper rod back and forth while filling the stabilizer with oil, you should get bubbles coming out. If there's play you have air inside. Happens in shipping sometimes.

I've always hated GPRs I love my ohlins, but had a scotts they are good but I felt like it coulda used some thicker fluid.

I've always loved the rod... wait..

 

But ya I think imma personally go rod style when I get around to investing some money in one..
It just makes more sense

you don't see rotary style dampers on cars, you don't see rotary style shocks on cards or motorcycles

 

there all right hyperpro all the way!!! i dont know how anybody trusts a rotary when doing endos!!!

 

that means nothing, mine was brand new and leaked, had to send it in to GPR UK for service.
