08 r6 front brake master

08 r6 front brake master
Anyone use one for a handbrake? Any mounting issues as far as positioning and clearance? I've used a radial r1 before. Is it the same? Looked at pics and it looks like the part where the lever mounts kinda curves towards the lever where as most are straight. That's why I'm asking these questions. Might be able to get one for cheap but all I see is pics. Don't wanna waste my time and money if I may have mounting and positioning issues.

Re: 08 r6 front brake master
i had it on my r6 and it worked good for straightline and circles...but once i started rockin faster circle combos it wasnt enough...i went brembo 16x18 with the hohey set up...and its still not enough...lol i need the new hohey mount with the front brake style caliper...

Re: 08 r6 front brake master
i have a 08 R6 master. it fits nicely, works well, and is made by brembo. its a great MC, the high end brembo's are a bit better. but its a fraction of the cost and works better than most other stock MC's.
heres some pics..............
you can do it, but you shouldn't need any more braking power than a good 4 piston caliper, ss line, and brembo would give you.
not really......
while i'm waiting to buy my hohey 4 piston set up, the way i plan to do it is........
instead of jumping from caliper to caliper. i'm going to leave my 80" SS line from my HB to my second rear caliper only. then i'm going to add a line with a double banjo bolt from my HB master cylinder to either my foot brake MC or foot brake caliper. so that way i get the braking powrer were i need it, 2 calipers when using my HB. one caliper when i'm useing my foot brake.
