Re: Anyone tried stunting the SV650's?
this is true I was on stock gearing for about a month when i started breaking teeth off of my vortex sprocket it was a 48 tooth rear.. I asked my friend if he had any sv sprockets? he said all he had was from a sv 1000 it fit but it was a 45.. I went down 3 in the rear and I am on that sprocket still.. thats the sprocket I have on in my av... NOT A PROBLEM getting it up on one!
you dont need gears to stunt a stock SV. i could clutch up sitdowns at almost a stop with mine without even hardly throwing any clutch at it.
if your breaking teeth on a vortex sprocket.. you have issues with your chain or something........

I started out on a SV1000S.... and never had any problems. Great bike..... and I even still have it after 5 years. About to finally fix it up since the learning cycle. haha. Very smooth bike.

I had been riding it hard for a while.. and one time I adjusted my chain it tightened up something fierce.. started knocking teeth off the sprocket.. there wasn't much life left in it anyways...
