newb needs some advice
what up everyone . i've been riding since june . and i want to get into stunting . the only problem is that i'm stuck wit an ex250r . so theres not really much i can do . i'm trying to do wheelies on it and ive been doing my research on it . only problem is that most of the tips are based off of bigger bikes . i've managed to get my front wheel a couple of inches of the ground today by working the clutch . i dont really know of anybody in my area who is into stunting to i dont have anyone to really tell me what i need to do to get it up higher . if anyone has some input that could help me out it would be deeply appreciated . thnks

i started off on an extremely heavy rf600, and i've heard of guy's wheelieing the **** out of 250cc 4wheelers. u prolly just gotta learn to slip the clutch just right. one thing though, at least get frame sliders or something to protect the engine covers. and try bring her up from nearly a dead stop. good luck

Re: newb needs some advice
nearly every bike can wheelie. there are some that just take different positions and a little technique. so just keep working on bringing that front end higher a little more each time (while covering the brake) and you'll see some progression!

Re: newb needs some advice
people are doing wheelie on 90cc . Like most of the guys said it don't comes over night learn to dump the clutch . The most important thing make sure you cover the back brakes.

Re: newb needs some advice
yup..i learned on the same bike.
i think i was revin that bitch to 7 grand the droppin the clutch...and that bike would shoot straight up. haha i think i even got some footage of it.. imma check tomorrow. anyway...
all these guys are givin great advise... just take your time, start off small... dead stop or coasting... try 4thousand rpms first..... slip the clutch.. and cover that back break.
little by little work your way up to 7 grand...
always cover your break..and always wear protective gear
