SI Subframes Steel Or Aluminum?????
We finished the 05-06 636 subframe, but havent decided on aluminum or steel. I think we might offer both. Steel bieng a more affordable option. Whats your guys ?

i think aluminum might be a better idea, and just change the design. stronger than stock..... too strong and instead of folding subframes, you rip the ears off the frame itself.

no one will be happy and bad mouth you and or bandwagon jump on anyone who put a product up on this website.

it should not be a problem to make strong aluminium subframes so I would say aluminium because they will be way lighter than steel subs.
just keep the price affordable but that might be difficult.

Some people are going to prefer aluminum, some will rather save money and go with steel....Whatever you make if the design is good you will sell, but if you make both your going to dominate the market...
You can get a steel stay for $150 or even less nowadays, but people are still buying my $250 TIG welded aluminum stays...
