Exclamation ?Spring Swap Inside Forks?

How to you get the springs out of 03 636 forks? I got the forks apart and got my seals replaced but I cant figure out how to get the spring off it because I just got a set of hyperpro springs to replace my factory springs. Thanks alot

Re: ?Spring Swap Inside Forks?

no, front springs can be compressed by hand, theres a special tool we have at the bike shop to get them apart, its a clip that you slide in to them after you compress them, when installed it keeps them compressed so you can loosen the nut that holds them together.

SAMBO is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: ?Spring Swap Inside Forks?

I don't know what size it looks like because i'm not around my bike. But if it's the same size as the swingarm nut on the frame, then that one is a 24mm
