oil pressure

ok so when im chillen at 9+ r's doin whatever wheelies/haulin *** i put it in neutral and my oil light comes on, rev it just a lil and it goes off then comes back on when it idles again, obviously theres no oil in the pan it's probably all in the top end but i changed the oil and filled it above the f line in the lil window, kinda outta idea's. anyone had this prob before?

yea i had that same problem. my bike threw a rod the next day.

I wouldn't ride it- could be spun bearing or just prob with pump- you may cause more damage

it only does it for a few seconds after i've been at high rpm's, all other times it doesn't do it, thats what makes me believe there's not enough oil in the crankcase, so if it were a rod bearing or problem in the bottom end i think it would lose pressure all the time, oh ya, the engine has 2000 miles on it, appreciate the help

Thats a strange problem. Have you done any mods to your crankcase ventilation system like the PAIR mod? If no, what oil filter are you using? Cheap oil filters are notorious for restrictive flow. DO NOT USE FRAM OIL FILTERS. Fram oil filters are the worst filter you can possibly put on your bike. They have shitty flow which lowers your oil pressure and are completely cardboard on the inside. The endcaps are cardboard and are known to come apart and get bits of cardboard all in your engine which can clog oil jets and blow it up. I am talking from experience. Check out my profile.
