i just bought a wreaked r1, and im lookn on ebay for platic...i seen that same old HONG KONG **** they sale, but that price(399,or 499 buy it now) looks like a great deal and the paint job or vinal wrap looks great, has anyone on here ever got one and are they shitty? they have great feedback, but i know that some of the BRANDX ****, u get what u pay for no drilled holes, never lines up, ect...

I want the set now, so i can have my bike done when taxes gets back so i can resale,(honda fan here) and the auction ends on the set i want in a day, plz let me know if someone bought a set...thanks...

this is my old 05 636 that I miss dearly, Heath from 256north is fixing to be rocking it. But anyways, the upper, tail, and mids are honk kong plastics from auctmarts on ebay. The fit good, everything lined up good for me.

I have a buddy that did that with his cbr 1000rr, he did the Red Bull replica, it looks pretty sick.

 

thanks...u never know what ur gonna get, sounds a little too good to be true..im sure it a real site and everything, but if a upper from ebay runs 250 new the whole kit it 399 and its all ready painted up...sounds like some shitty fiberglass part and blot holes not lining up but the bikes with them on there look great...so well c...thanks guys

 

The kits are $600 after shipping. I'm buying a set for my 954 this spring. I've heard good things about them.

 

yea but u couldnt get ur bike painted for that, plus the plastic!!! sounds like a good deal, im gonna get one for the r1 c how it turns out...

 

a friend of mine got a set for his 900rr.. they are much thinner than OEM an he had to drill to get it to fit properly..

but you cant beat the price, the only thing it doesnt come with is the gask tanks

 

^^^ right right, but some come with plastic cover to go over them...but im just gonna paint mine blk..they do look thinner, and i bet couple hunderd whoolies and there gonna break but its gonna be litlle hooters bike with the old lady...

Im going to be doing the same to my R1 next year. Will put the oem fairings on the shelf cos they're too expensive to go for a slide/slide.

 

had a set for about 6 months (the abs plastic) holden up pretty good i fiberglassed the insides for extra suport..they melt easier and dont get brake fluid on them!!only two tabs broke so far..

 

on the stuntbike?? do u think its from that? <<the tabs breakn off


i got a left side and the lowers, the right side is rashed but a great painted piece, but all i need is the upper and tail, but if i buy new the upper alone is over 300, and i want a nice streetbike for bike nights, ride the old lady, ect...but im stuck with going factory with chrome wheels,swingarm, ect or that hong kong plastic, its gonna be close on price but i do want something that is gonnna be able to take some whoolies(its a r1 ****) and its not gonna break...
