I replied on stuntride. You want to have an iq test little man? Redoing something means you did it already. So re-replying means I already posted a reply. But good lookin out for Teach's post. I'll let him correct me next time.

Go see who is over there. Usually it is dead. That needs to change. I keep both up. More time is spent on here. But hopefully, for the sake of this sport, it moves over there. This site was different years ago. But you wouldn't have been here for that. And it was alot more fun. Teach, get a DUALLY. You will regret not. You're takin it cross-country quite a bit right?

It is better than any other stunt mag. And for the price, I would go get it now. Before Christmas at least. So you can get all the back issues as well. Do not buy Super Streetbike.

Re: pulling big trailers full of stuntbikes?
if u got the cash grab a newer dodge dually, if you got the time, grab the ford dually 250 n change the turbo, ive 'HEARD' from reliable sources... i.s speed channel 'trucks' this morning that uggradding to the 88mm turbo solves a lot of pressure problems resulting from surges as well because the stock turbo's air inlet is too small for the motors output

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE V8 DIESELS AND THE INLINE DIESELS.... THE V8 DIESELS ARE QUICK REVING FASTER TO SPOOL AND LESS TORQUE BUT MORE HORSEPOWER WITH 2 MORE CYCLINDERS...AND THE REASON FOR LESS TORQUE IS BECAUSE THE STROKE IS LESS THAN AN INLINE... A CUMMINGS WILL PUT OUT MORE TORQUE BUT LESS HORSE THAN A V8..
Not bad but Didnt u also say ur truck has a stick in it so were talking around 17% driveline loss... an automatic can be as high as what 21-23 due to converter slippage? Ur truck was a LONG way off in power and torque my friend. I PROMISE my F350 wouldve ripped ur rear axle out if we tied them together not to mention wasted u 1/4 mile and top speed. Not to mention BETTER LOOKING!!! LOL And Deisel performance has changed ALOT since ive had mine I'm sure but in 05' when I was doing things to my daily driven towing truck it was pretty serious for that time. I own a Toyata Tundra now and it gets waaay better mileage

IF I WAS GONNA SPEC A TRUCK OUT THAT I WAS GONNA USE CONSTINALY TO HAUL A 40 FOOT GOOSE NECK IT WOULD BE A 2003 TO 2006 DODGE 3500 CREW CAB LONG BED WITH A 6SPD ALSO WITH TOW PACKAGE. AND DO MINOR BOLT ONS LIKE EXHAUST TO LOWER EGTS, AND A COLD AIR INTAKE TO ALSO MAKE MORE FREE FLOWING AIR TO IN LET OF ENGINE AND A EITHER EDGE OR BANKS BOX WITH PDA OR MONITOR TO MONITOR THE EGT, BOOST PRESSURE, ENGINE CODES
THE REASON I WOULD GET A 6SPD IS BECAUSE AUTOS ARE TO UNRELIABLE UNLESS THEY ARE BUILT

wow lots of good info here, heres some more info.
1. i dont care what it looks like, gonna get wrapped
2. i don't work on trucks so i'm not interested in swapping anything or paying anyone to do it really....UNLESS its something that NEEDS or really should be done.
3. i dont care about HP and all taht other doodad ****
4. i don't care about the mega cab bc i wont be in the back seat (thats waht the toy hauler is for), all i care about is having a 4 door
is there really a sig difference with a long bed? and can you even get a long bed dually?
i ride my **** stock whenever i can.
that being said, i think i'm sold on the dually.
here's what argo had to say about diesels:
Ford 00-03 7.3 liter not 6.0
Chevy newer thatn 05
Dodge newer han 03
so, as of right now i'm leaning towards a dodge, maybe an 06 or something....and do i want stick or auto?
as for the trailer, the quality difference for an extra 10-15k is significantly better and i want to own the trailer at the end of the year and the idea is that the sponsors pay for it, so thats why the 36-40 footer. i spend too much time in hotels and travelling so being able to have my 'house' with me wherever i go is appealing and saves someone money on hotels and whatnot.
i've put 70k on my ford v10 with nothing but oil changes and i know NOTHING about trucks (this is my first non toyota beater full size truck) but i'm pretty sure the tranny is about to go bc it clunks like a **** at starts/stops, but other than that it has treated me well. anyone wanna buy it? 110k, king ranch, v10, prolly needs a tranny, but fine other than that. rebuilt title bc it got hit in the bed (new bed---argo special!).
keep 'em coming, you learn something new every day!

Re: pulling big trailers full of stuntbikes?
U need to drive all of the above and make a decision is what it boils down to my man. The ride and durability being the most important for long trips. I put 194,000 miles on mine in 2yrs. Yes u need a dually, yes they all come in longbed (if not u will knock the cab off cutting corners and on inclined transitions between road and parking lots) Yes u need an automatic, yes u need a chip and an aftermarket downpipe/exhaust and cold air setup because all of these will give u signifigant power and especially mileage increases. And Dont buy ANYTHING used more than 3yrs old... TRUST ME. Oh and get ready for ALOT maintainence homeboy... fuel filters, trans flush and oil changes are a must when pullng loads.

Re: pulling big trailers full of stuntbikes?
yo teach definitly dually, more stable when pulling a camper, fords are great but ask anyone with a 6.0 litre and they will tell you the egr valve plugs up alot, but good motor, duramax in the chevy is what i got had it for years and never had one problem with it, but if i was going to get something for hauling across country i would get the dodge just because the cummins is indestructable everything else will rott away but you will never have problems with that motor, but the interior of the dodge sucks, i love my chevy interior and i got a 4 door, but the fords are by far the biggest of all the trucks, with the exception of the mega cab in which case right now you wont find any mega cab for under 45,000.. i know that i love my chevy, so good luck
