Look guys i appreciate all the advise but to the ZX2.5 haters out there i have been stunting 205's for 7 years and i have yet to spend a grand on any of my 250's and they last a good while then i sell them and make my money back so screw the haters and the new 250's are way better balanced than the old ones and the old ones were better than a gixxer600 so kiss off ANYWAY i am going to do the swap that is a really good idea thanks R6-Hooligan

quickest way get in good with a used car manager that goes to the auctions and see if he can find anything in the range you are looking for believe me there are alot of new riders that wreck these 250's and cheeeeap to pick up let me know if you need anything

50's are toys to play on, just like a ninja 250.. toys!

But really, tons of people rock 50's out on the streets, hell with my 4 speed tranny and 15/30 gearing, I used to rock 4th gear combos at 50mph through traffic lol


I'd rather see a crf450 stunted then a ninja 250.. ninja 250 is like a 400ex stunting wise, just with 2 wheels


Sure they are good for learning, and learning stunt riding, but they are NOT in the same league as a 600cc+

ya, and you can pickup a 50 for $1000, or a dirt bike for $1000

They are fun to play around on sure, just make sure you realize they are toys compared to a full sized dirt bike or street bike


edit: hell I'd rather have a older 600 then a brand new 250 ANY DAY.

Got my first bike, fzr 600 with 10k miles for $700... Was a beater, put $800 in parts in it (polished wheels, r6 tail + gas tank, aftermarket exhaust) plus painted the frame and plastics, had it looking nice as **** for around $1500, and I actually raced a ninja 250, wasn't really a race, I SMOKED it without even getting half into the throttle...

a 250 is just sad.. Its a pathetic excuse for a street bike

Well NO **** they aren't in the same league as a 600!! Nothing gets by you does it.

You can say that having a 1000 stunt piece is a easy way to Stunt because its so easy to get the thing up with all that power...But then you can say 250 are easy cuz they are so light. Stunt'n isn't just about WHEELIES......its about Skill, Control, BALANCE,....and ***** LOL

But you could say that 250's are easy because they are light, and have a very low power and smooth power band.

i have the stunt gs500....stunt whatever you can and dont worry about the haters, they're everywhere! just get a really big sprocket and a 250 will be fine for a stunter. just wont have any top speed...but you dont need that.

Price of a 250 compared to a 95ish 600 all depends...for the price range Im lookin into the 250 will be in decent to good condition...the 600's ive seen and been offered are POS basket cases.
