What does balance point feel like?

I can bring the front up with no problem, but I always rev out my wheelies. Sometimes when I bring it up, I get a weightless feeling, but it feels like I'm so far backwards that It feels like I'm about to loop so I drop it down and start again.

I know at balance revs and speed remain constant for the most part, but what else should I look for to know that I'm at that spot? How do I know I'm there?

Thanks in advance.

You already described it, that weightless feeling, the part where you feel so far backwards that you feel like your going to loop. thats the point where you have to be ready to tap the RB. Use your forks as a refferance point as well. When your at BP in first gear, especially at lower speeds like idle, you will notice that your forks are level with the ground, basicly when they are pointing straight forward , thats a different way to gauge BP. good luck

Re: What does balance point feel like?

dude, ive gone over balance pint with idle up and ive not even had to touch brake. so looping isn t a problem if u clutch up slow just practice. dont fear the point!!!
