Re: anyone ever see the dual throttle setup?
yes, and they come with them so noobs dont lose control while turning. When you turn on an ATV you have to lean into the turn so you don't roll, a thumb throttle makes it easier so you dont roll the throttle more when you lean. Most experienced riders take that **** off once they leave the stealership!
and... why you would put one on a bike?

And you are right, they are there for when you turn and are leaning, which is why you leave them on quads

I got a quad, and my handbrake is on the same side as my thumbthrottle, its a sweet setup, i've been thinking about putting one of these dual thumb twist setups on the motard.

Re: anyone ever see the dual throttle setup?
the only quad I ever ran that had a thumb throttle was one that was bone stock, fresh from the dealer. Had a ton of friends back in the day that had TRX250R's.... all with 1/4 turns, I wouldnt see having it any other way. we never had a problem giving too much throttle or not enough in a corner due to the twist throttle. When you're like me, grew up rocking circles in my front lawn on a CB900 in front of the cops and making babies cry...Its all about the twist throttle! NO GAMES!!!!

Re: anyone ever see the dual throttle setup?
agreed that thumb throttles are over rated and pointless... bill d rocks it but if you notice it seems like he always hits rev limiter on every endo and **** that he does, must be easy using a thumb instead of wrist, dont get me wrong he's a great stunter but i just dont see the point in using them let alone stunting a quad...
but if a noob wants it to " cheat " then let em be
