Helmet Sponsors...

With the holidays approaching, I am in the market for a new lid. As a firm believer in supporting those who support you. I am looking at buying from a company that is supporting the stunt community. With that said, I want to hear from actually sponsored riders about their helmets and the company that supplies the helmets to them. I understand most will just try to push their product because it's their sponsor, but I want to hear why. Not just "I like Craft because they are free".

I am not trying to get only sponsored riders either, any input towards a helmet is appreciated.

Re: Helmet Sponsors...

imo Arai is the best all around helmet!!!!! but very pricey.
light weight, comfy, great ventilation, and great quality.

Re: Helmet Sponsors...

Yes, I think Arai makes very nice helmets. Also, I wanted to add that I try to ride year round here and it gets pretty cold. So, something with good ventilation and the ability to do the opposite as well. These bald heads get cold.

You beat me to it. I am Sponsored by scorpion but i was wearing their helmets before my sponsorship. My EXO 700 is the most comfortable and breathable helmet I have ever worn; and I need maximum air flow because I ride visor down. Couldn't do that with the other Helmets I've Worn. I Highly recommend the EXO 700 series being that its what I were And will Always wear.

Good input. Thanks. It's funny because I was actually leaning towards Scorpion before I even posted this. I just want to know what else is out there.

SMF Cycles that does a lot for stunt riders is currently offering half off their craft helmets. Something to check out.

Re: Helmet Sponsors...

I had a Shoei RF700 (loved it), an Icon Alliance (hated it), and now have an Arai RX7 RR (best so far). I tried on the Shoei RF1000 and X11 and they just weren't comfortable at all. I really wanted another Shoei but the new ones don't compare to my old one. The Arai was the only helmet I could find that fit well. I tried KBC, HJC, Icon, Shoei, Fulmer, Shark, and Arai. The Shark wasn't too bad but not as good as the Arai.
