Re: Does the stuntriding community frown on street stunting
Who gives a **** if people dont like street riding. Like some have said before, this **** is made for the streets and started on the streets and most of us do it for the rush of rockin the streets!!
There is no way that putt puttin across the lot can give you the same rush as rockin a spreader on the highway with people hanging out their windows screaming and taking pics.....

Isnt your post a little hypocritical? You like Ride of the Century and Bikestyles ride, you participated obviuosly but then you say it hurts your friends and the chance for this to go further?? Not trying to fight here but to me it seems that you are contradictive in your response. (which I thank you for!)
Either your in or your out, I dont see how you can say its cool but you dont like it. Would you call the cops if you saw someone tearing up the streets or would you watch and enjoy it like apparently most of us do?
I love the streets. I love the rush, the reaction and the fun! There is always an awesome story that goes along with every street ride.

But here's what I am saying, I think throwing rocks at cop cars is cool and hardcore but I know that it doesn't do anything but cause trouble and isn't something I should do.
There are alot of riders who are working hard to get sponsorships and push our sport as far as competitions and shows are concerned. When riders are turned away from companies because companies don't want to help a sport that is seen as dangerous to OTHER people and illegal. That's what I don't like, And I see what Hollywood is saying, when I was in Minnesota we didn't have spots and would session roads in the middle of no where. That is something that I don't consider street riding. Running down the highway, splitting lanes and causing a nuisence is what I think is hurting us.
Thanks,
Tice
