streets are fine, as long as youre not popping squidly *** power wheelies, that embarass other riders.

I love hitting the lots, but I also love hitting streets..

But nothing like ripping combos down the freeway at 70mph...



Not to mention, every time I see a squid I feel the need to drag tail down the road to let him know whats up

I have cut back a lot though from the beginning.. I don't go out with intentions of killing streets anymore, it just kinda happens.. But everyday I ride my bike I gotta rock at LEAST one good wheelie

I love pulling up to a sport bike or a harley at a stop light, and leaving the light on 1 wheel lol..

We who do not Rock sick **** love the streets!!! the lack of lot time probably = only one circle (then crash, or less than 1 and no crash....)

 

i wouldn't say i frown on street riding.. but i don't encourage it. i can rock anything in the lot that i can in the streets and i have no chance of behing run over by a car. *hopefully*

 

stunting the streets is physically and legally dangerous,but thats what makes it fun and gets the adrenline going!!

I prefer the lots, I started on the streets and I still think that there are maybe 4 or 5 guys who are really killing the streets.

As far as pushing the sport the streets are not helping. The people that are trying to push the sport as far as making a living off it don't compare in numbers to the people who could give a **** less and continue to ruin the hard work of few.

Don't get me wrong, I have seen a big street ride in person and the rush was cool. With the ride of the century and some of the Ohio Bikestyles rides there is a grip of great riders killing it and its cool. When most of you complain about the bad publicity that Adrenaline crew just got on Inside Edition and still support street riding you are doing nothing but being hypocritical......

Thats my 2cents, doesn't mean anything, but I would someday like to see some of my friends that have worked their asses off make a living from riding their bikes. I guess you could say that they are living the american dream...

Well here in NY Its only streets!!! So we have no choice!!! Our best practice spot is which ever block is flat and smooth until the cops show up! But i do understand and respect what people mean on helping the sport.

although i dont ride anymore (due to legal issues), if i was able to i would be keepin it street.

i always thought of it this way,

you practice in the lot

you hit the streets to showcase what youve been practicing.

you make no wheelies so you dont talk about somebody elses wheelies biotch ... you should be on a forum that stunts couches and plays call of duty or rockband and dont + nothing bcuz you dont wheelie

 

i dont agree or disagree with street rides, casue 50 percent of the time the other drivers love it and are amazed! ive yet to go out and kill the streets since ive learned everything to where iam at now. nor do i have any intentions on doing so soon. instead i rather practice in a safe contained area with other riders practicing wheeelies all night chillin hangin out having a good time, rather than constantly be lookin out and running from cops other cars running you over, **** that, i ride to have fun, stay safe and stay out of trouble and hopefully one day be able to compete with some of the big named riders ..some day. lots is where ill be putting in my time not the streets. ride or die!

 

KILL THE STREETS!!!! ride of the century was the most adreniline pumping exciting day of my life, i think, the streets are great, even tho, since i bought my stuntbike this year i have spent 90% in the lot and 10% on the streets, but cant wait to kill the streets this spring, and for the last 3 years, i have wheelied distance on the interstates, and have a clean record, and never had any1 try to kill me.. ROCK THE STREETS!!!!!

 

I think about 90% love it , 9% get scared and 1% throws loose change and empty bottles at you



4 or 5 guys that you've seen, Im sure theres hundreds of guys that kill it just as much, but dont care to or have the means to film it.

 

Isnt your post a little hypocritical? You like Ride of the Century and Bikestyles ride, you participated obviuosly but then you say it hurts your friends and the chance for this to go further?? Not trying to fight here but to me it seems that you are contradictive in your response. (which I thank you for!)

Either your in or your out, I dont see how you can say its cool but you dont like it. Would you call the cops if you saw someone tearing up the streets or would you watch and enjoy it like apparently most of us do?

I love the streets. I love the rush, the reaction and the fun! There is always an awesome story that goes along with every street ride.

 

i'll focus on the street when I don't have a parking lot to ride in anymore.

 

funny thing is the wheelies i make are still BETTER than yours.
