Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

600's seem to be the same price across the board for the most part unless you are comparing companies.

Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

i have no clue how insurance works... i have a perfect record, progressive still wants like $4200 to insurance my bike, im 26 and my bike is a 2000, back in like 2005 I rode with a kid that was 19 and he had an 02 R1 and he was only paying $500 a year for full coverage... how the **** does that work?????? check Geico and Allstate. State Farm is cheap, but you have to have a car insured with them to get bike insurance.

Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

when you turn 25 your risk liability goes down so your rates do too. im 23 with the worst driving reccord in history and when i got married the loop hole is i put it in my wifes name with me as a seccondary rider and she is 29 with no tickets EVER!! and i pay 18.00/mo full coverage 500 deduct w/ uninsured motorist on my 02 f4i and 24.00/mo full cov. on my 1000rr. and pay 22.00/mo full cov. on my 94 danger ranger, and 31.00/mo full cov. on my 03 gmc envoy. if you still live at home you can put it in mom or dads name with you as a secondary. or if you have a live in girl try her name with you as a secondary rider. also tell them you will be riding it for school/work NOT pleasure riding!!

STATE FARM IS WHERE ITS AT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

This is no joke...

I just sold a k5 Hayabusa because my insurance was 945 a month

I have 24 points on my FL driving record =( All speeding, racing etc. no real stupid **** like DUI's or anything

I still live at home though...so I can have my dad as the primary and me as the secondary and pay a lot less? Won't the ins company see that even though I'm a secondary driver, I have a fucked record?

Re: Moto Insurance opinions?

I got you all beat, I pay $52 a YEAR! to statefarm for Liability on my CBR929. F'k full coverage, they are just going to raise my rate to cover the cost of any repair etc, so I'll pay for that out of pocket. I save so much running liability its crazy, statefarm is insanely cheap too, less than half of my old crappy insurance company.
