i got layed off today lol im pretty sure the business is almost on its way out to ...basically they offered me 15- 20 hours a week and i was thinkin ill make just as much on unemployment and i wont even have to go in and listen to how bad things are getting so i took the layoff

**** that. yeah youll get a steady paycheck and it will seem like you are making alot because you are saving alot because you never ever have free time to spend it! they will work you 90 hours a week and pay you for 40. they take your offtime and turn it into a "privelage" called "liberty" which is subject to being "secured" at any time.

******* economy! All through college i've worked at a place large enough that it'll take the Great Depression to close it.
Been there almost 5 years and now that I'm graduated with my degree i'm scared as hell to leave this job i'm a veteran at, and start somewhere in my field as the "newbie" and risk being one of the first to be let go!

I'm a Finance MGR for Lithia Chevy we have about 100 stores but they are selling a few!!! I think i'm ok! there are 375 Finance Managers in Lithia and i'm top 5 every month but you never know!!!!!

Im currently full time for an Army Reserve unit, and refuse to go active because the pay is better for me here. I work 30-35 hours a week and can take off basically anytime I want.

IM Union Job...Ima Postal Handler..but This time last year on my shift alone we were doing 50,000lbs of mail a night....now we are doing like 20,000lbs..only thing good about it is its obviously less work but then again gotta worry about JOB SECURITY!!

for the last two months my hours been cut from 50 to 35... then had surgery on my knee and lost two weeks with no pay.. just got back to workin both jobs and still got hours cut. now i got collections callin my *** daily
