04 636 2nd idle adjuster?

hey guys, iv searched and cant find any threads on if an 04 636 needs a seperate idle adjuster?

on my f4i and 929 i knew it had to be done, but when i went to put a 900rr idle screw into the 636 it is the wrong size thread..

so if i need to do this mod what idle screw do i need to use?

cheers

no need.... the stock one opens the throttle bodies just like twisting the throttle

Re: 04 636 2nd idle adjuster?

so it turns out that the screw i took out where i thought the new idle adjuster would go ended up being the pilot air screw.. i put it back in but now the bike runs like junk! backfires, revs slower and doesnt pull on idle at all.

i done the kleen air mod aswell but im guessing its the air mixture that is messed up and out of sync.

does anyone know how many turns or what length the screw is meant to be screwed in to be back to stock?

LOL man. Get ready to fork up some $$$ to get a mechanic to sync them now.
