Re: clip-ons

there's more to life than the lot.....step away from the ghey lot. We might have to put you on a 12 step program.

I've thought about selling the old trusty to pay off the 636, but i just can't see letting go of an icon (plus it's paid off and costing me nothing).

i can assure you that between running my business, having 2 kids, coaching little league baseball, and youth basketball, that i have a lot more going on in my life than riding in the lot! but i still make time for it. all i am saying is if you dont want to do it anymore, than fine, but do not try to talk it down just because your done with it! thats fucked up!

well if your problem is reaching the stock clip-ons, then flipping, or turning them out will not help you. i would say go with a db set up.

Re: clip-ons

i will ride lots, streets, hoes, gravel covered ghetto hoods, covered bridges, amish gravel roads (on the 110), a double tall bicycle, and a REAL pimp 636.

y do u think lots are so gay? believe it or not people enjoy the technical aspects of riding along with flying around killin streets.

i think its pretty dope to clutch stall out and around the lot wherever u want. definitely applies to the street aspect of it (if you wanted to stall on things/cars/etc)

cut the upper down real low and turn the clip ons all the way out. if i could do it again i would. angled clipons definitely take away from the leverage you have for turning the bike. if you can rock em tho... do it. angled clipons make a riders style the best if they are good with them IMO. i wasnt progressing to incredibly well with them like that. as soon as that upper came off i felt right at home.

Re: clip-ons

get a set of votex or wood ccraft clip ons and flip them. then trim down your upper a lil bit so you have more clearns to turn your bars.

do you guys even read posts, or do you just go to the end and leave a comment? if you would have read the original post, you would have known that the bike already has woodcrafts on it, and the upper and stay have also been trimmed down! so thanks for nothing!

See above. it just got old. There was no balance between it all. I got into a "lot lot lot" rut and it was just time for "CHANGE" .
