wow thats ****** bullshit man. its wrong how they can do whatever they want and just get "suspended" or something, and if you touch them you go to jail for a long time. cops are just a waste of tax dollars. if every citizen had a gun on their hip the way its supposed to be there would be no need for those scumbags.

Re: Outrunning the MAN...

Never been one to run but me and a friend got seperated from our group. we dropped back just a little to ride some wheelies. Well while on one wheel I see my buddy start looking over, set it down, and then take off. At the moment, didnt think about cops, thought he was just having some fun and catching up. So i drop a gear and am right with him up to about 140 till we change highways and take a good exit. I said " What was that all about". he says"Didnt you see that cop we passed come after us?" I was shocked to find out we were running and didnt even know it. Good times but dont plan on doing it again.

Re: Outrunning the MAN...

Was rolling a long stand up on I4 near the casino here in Tampa 'round 1130 PM on a Thursday night...Hear that weird tone cop beep noise over my right shoulder and cop pulls up on my right side making hand motions to put it down and pull over. I shook my head no at him, so he got behind me and was waiting for me to set it down so he could get my plate and meet up with me at my house later for coffee and donuts. I am no idiot, so I kept rolling steady until I hit a traffic cluster of about 15 cars near the I75 junction...Shifted my weight towards the right, got in front of a pedestrian car in the exit lane so he couldn't see my plate, dropped it down, grabbed third and bounced. The best part about this was the look on the cops face when I shook my head no at him when he was instructing me to set it down and pull over.

Cops follow diff rules if they have there lights on, basicallly they are almost untouchable. you have to PROVE GROSS NEGLAGENCE , witch is very costly time consuming plus you have to find a lawyer that willing to go that route. Realy the only way is to have it on video. I went through 4 lawyers and $4500 to prove nothing. also it goes through federal court. Personaly, I have a bit of a sour taste for police, even though I have relatives on the force..

Re: Outrunning the MAN...

when i ride I am always assessing the situation, the more traffic the better if you have to run, you can get around the cars on a bike faster than the lights and sirens can get them to move, by then you are 3 exits down and turning back onto an on ramp. I'd prefer not to run but there are those times that you know your arent riding away with a ticket. wheelies in rural areas are a bit harder to run from, I dont do wheelies in town as freely as I used to, the cops are worse every year.

Re: Outrunning the MAN...

Last weekend was rideing in a spot that i found. had 2 of my friends watching in a truck when one pointed to the far end of the lot, saw 2 cops pulling in and natural instinct was to book it out the other way. Went flying behind buncha department stores and got to the other side to find a big ****** water truck blocking the exit along with a giant hole and a fence. hoped i could get by so i squeezed between a wall and the back of the truck then ended up stuck between the truck and a gate so i killed the bike and hopped off and crouched down. 30 seconds later the cops pulling directly up to me on the other side of the truck with his headlights aluminateing the bottom of my rims. I thought i was fucked for sure swear i thought i heard the door open. Then **** my phone starts ringing my bastard friends are calling to see what happened. Im shitting my pants leaning up against the tire of the truck thinking **** **** ****. then suddenly the car started backing away and drove off. Pretty dumb cops i'd say, they clearly saw me take off that way and there was nowere i could have got out besides the way they came in.
