I usually tell people get comfy w the bar and that area coz when you need to bail you wont be as skurred plus you ideally need to be a short distance before the bar to rock bp/idle wheelies but after you can park it on command like he's doing it - catch it w the brake instead of jumpin off.
i say just the opposite , i always tell them to learn balance point then scrapping is easy

everyones got the method that worked for them and thats what they tell people. best thing is to try all the different things people are tellin you and do work. unfortunately toneth the natch likes to ride for 10 minutes and then take a 30 minute smoke break then ride for maybe 15 minutes and then whoops time for a 40 minute smoke break this time - then its time to pack up - long night streeeeeeetchhhhhhh yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnn

you dont know what the **** youre lookin at. im glad you came up with what you're doing wrong after 10 sessions when mad people are tellin you different but do work toneth. next years a good goal for bp wheelies. year 2 is idle and then maybe by year 7 or 8 you could start turning o's. i'd be proud of you nonetheless.

What No one has been able to see what I've been doing with my hands til now, and everyone has been telling me I give it way too much gas. I know you say less gas, but it seems like if I give it even a little less than cranking the **** out of it it barely comes off the ground. You told me park it on the bar to get comfortable with it, now I'm parking it n the bar and comfortable with it. I'm trying to hit the brake now but I'm having trouble. I don't know what "mad people are telling me different" means. Guess I just need more seat time.

Quick question. My rotors are squeaking **** now and they're definitely bent, because I lose pressure with my front brakes almost immediately after riding, but when I'm stopped the pressure comes back a bit. My front wheel is also a bit tweaked. If I replace the rotors, but not the front wheel, will I still lose brake pressure? Like would it be pointless? I don't mind the front wheel being a bit crooked, doesn't really matter... but I'd like to have reliable front brakes.

Have done that multiple times. I need to bleed them every 2 days or else I completely lose pressure. Guess I can just get rotors for $20 and try them and see what happens. I'm not going to the block party without front brakes

easy enough to see if your rotors are bent , push the brake pads away from the rotor and spin the front wheel

Oh the rotors are definitely bent, I can tell just by looking at them. My bike has taken a beating up until recently. What I was wondering though would replacing the rotors be pointless if my wheel is just slightly tweaked too? Would I still lose brake pressure from the wheel being tweaked since the rotors are bolted to it and would spin crooked with the wheel?

If that's the case I'll just continue staying off the streets until I get idle. Which means I probably won't be seeing any streets for a couple of years
