Try getting a carpal tunnel brace from the pharmacy and see if it goes away while you wear it. The posture of your arm and wrist are really important. Its only a 13 buck investment and its been helping me a lot.

Like this This is what Ive been wearing. It has the support in it that keeps your wrist from flexing

I'm gonna be doing major work on my bike this weekend.. well as much as I can. I 100% need to cut that slider out of the other side. The new sliders won't fit in it. Turns the left side tube with the slider stuck in it is slightly bent but still usable. That's why the Derlin is stuck in there so tight. The right side of the cage is now bent up too, which kind of worries me. I have no way to take the bolt out of that side since the gusset collapsed into the tube, which caused it to bend down. It's now angled slightly upward, and there doesn't look like any bends in the cage. I'm assuming the bolt is bent. Going to go to harbor freight and get a saw to cut that **** off. I'm gonna need to trim the derlin sliders too to make them fit.. any idea what to use for that?

That's the correct way to do it. I used a lathe here at work for mine.

It's late for me I need to put the new side of the cage on because it's now bent up. Before the tube was collapsed but now the entire thing is bent upwards. There's no way that I can check if the bolt is bent or not since I can't get a socket in there so I think I'd rather be safe than sorry and saw it off now before I crack my frame/motor. I need to go to Harbor Freight and get a bunch of power tools to do various **** on bikes. I'm thinking angle grinder and sawzall.

People are buggin but I guess most people dont shop around online to try and find better prices The Fastenal I went to didnt have much stocked with regards to Aluminum. At least I dont think they did. I wasnt looking for it when I went there though so yeah maybe they did. But Ima order 10 bars worth of the solid aluminum later. Ima call them and ask if I can save on the shipping fee if I pick it up since Im not far from there.

Dude called me back and said he most likely has the starter switch and throttle tube and rear brake master that Eric was looking for I think.

Making a trip to harbor freight tomorrow to get some tools. What would you guys suggest for cutting down the derlin slider to make it actually fit?
