WTF nobody sells a whole engine rebuild kit for f4i engines?? For cars you can buy a rebuild kit and it comes with all the rings, bearings, seal,s gaskets etc... Andrew said cometic did but i cant find it.. They only have a case rebuild.. My spare engine runs but i wanna freshen it up...

My spare engine is the original engine from smokey's bike. Has some blow by and stuff. So i definitely need todo the valve seals but that is easy once the head is off. I'll cut the valves my self and grind the valve seats.. I just wish i didnt need to buy each thing separate, its a pain in the *** like that..

u gotta get most of it from the dealer . and the rod and main bearings are a pain in the *** . there will be numbers punched into the case , crank , and each individual rod . u need to write em all down , and cross them with the manual to see what color bearings u need for each one .

I might just tear it down and see how the bearings look. If there not all burnt up and ****, maybe i can get away with just re-ringing the pistons ans giving it a good hone. And then just freshen up the head.

Yup you will have to match up the bearing colors with the ones on the engine already. There should also be markings on the back of the engine case which need to be cross referenced in the service manual for the rod bearings I'm pretty sure.
Don't use the wrong bearings or you'll be doing a tear down again right away.

The top triple is very easy to remove. Remove the stem nut and the 2 loosen the allen bolts and your done.
