I killed my SI cage!!
Check out the pics, I went down extremely hard and killed my Sick Innovations cage. It bent incredibly weird and then broke. I took a couple of pics. :YEAH Just a quick note, the only thing I hurt on my bike was I had a bent clip on. That cage is awesome and is being replaced with another SI cage!!! :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

Re: I killed my SI cage!!
My thoughts too, but the bolt just bent to hell. So bad I had to cut this bitch off. You cant see it very well, but the side is bent like an "S". I dont know if there was something wrong with it but I have never seen anything bend or break like that before.

Since moving to ATL I dont have a shop anymore so I just bought another one from a guy on here. Im still amazed that nothing really broke, just the cage and bar! My OMR subcage helped too!!!

Nah, let me rephrase, I bent my clip on (Vortex). It was pretty cool actually, bent in a "U" all the way against the tank. The SI round bar is good, wearing through but good.

Re: I killed my SI cage!!
The story isnt even that good! We were on one of our famous ATL street rides and well, I was doing a 3rd gear seat stander, grabbed a handful of clutch and well, seat stander coasters arent my thing...yet !!! So I hit the tail, hung on for as long as I could dragging it down the street and then had to let it go. The bike landed on the left side, slid across a few lanes and came to a stop. Thats it. Boring I know, sorry for the let down fellas!
T-Ricky, where you at??!!! You need to be on the next one!!!
Oh, one more thing,
For Sale: Slightly Used SI cage for any bike you want, the ****** is in 4 pieces so weld it to what you like!! LOLOLOLOL

Re: I killed my SI cage!!
In my crash the all thread snapped which let the back bend just like yours. The weight of the bike onto the cage without the all thread caused the "spacer" to pull out of the front cage mount. Mine was from a highside
