Subcages.... Sick VS OMR

Re: Subcages.... Sick VS OMR
Omr makes a good subcage. When I have the choice to get something from HAI or my local Honda shop... I'll usually order from HAI... You know, support those who support us.
Same with OMR. SI is doing well as a business for cages, so I'd rather support OMR and give back to the community so to speak.

I ride a few different bikes with omar subcages. They are the best in my opinon because they look so clean. You can climb all over them without worrying if your foots gonna slip off. I put a little friction tape on the pegs to keep em sticky. Great product for sure!

My friend has a 600rr and the OMR feels great, it seems like the pegs are a little further out and a little longer then stock, made climbing around easier. I like the SI cage because of the solid pegs, but Ive yet to buy a sub cage. Odds are it will be the OMR like everyone says support the small guy especially if the product is better

Man, I paid the old man on Saturday afternoon at 7:30pm EST and somehow I had that subcage today b/4 1:00pm EST. Amazing. Went on in 15 minutes flat. After hearing Nick's story of having to beat the right peg in I was worried. But, the only issue I had was you need to bend the rear of the original peg plate up a bit to clear the weld and it slid right in. #32085 in this pic is what I am talking about. Just bent that little tab up a bit and it went right in.

Fits great, looks great, and feels great. Doesn't give like my stock peg brackets did. Thanks old man.

If you flipped your pegs upside down wouldn't they be non fold-able pegs? So anyone that wants a non folding peg subcage just buy a OMR and than flip the pegs! :YEAH

Re: Subcages.... Sick VS OMR
i dont run either. I built my own, close to an OMR design, and then ended up buying a Powers subcage for 75$. I like the powers, because the pegs are fat, and feel like i more control. maybe its just me, but i prefer the wider pegs compared to stock ones...
I'd say though, OMR with those ESD pegs would be the ****. i dont really care about the folding feature, but ive heard alot of ppl smacking their tire into the SICK subcages when coming down from stoppies...

I wouldn't flip mine because I fold my pegs up a lot. Plus on the r6 I believe non folding pegs would be really bad for the subframe in a crash with how weak it is. I was just saying if some one wanted a non folding peg subcage couldn't they just get esd pegs or other and flip them?
