I def. wouldn't leave that big of a space between the tank and those bands if it was me.
good one

I use it for molds at work. **** is awesome, We use an industrial 2 part mix thats insane. But even the spray kind from Home Depot should work well.

Just get it all welded up and then maybe drill a hole for the nozzle. Fill that bitch up.. leave the hole open so it can expand.. Then weld the hole closed.

BAM.

Re: hmmm

great idea!!, I'd like to get a fresh tank, then barly dent it(that way it'd hold close to a full tank of gas) then do that

Re: hmmm

Looks dope, but also loops like a **** ton of work!

I know you're gonna hate me for this

but I'd weld a bent steel bar on the back of the tank, and fiberglass around it.. OR just fiberglass around what you already have

******* grinding and working on steel

Re: hmmm

That's whta I'm gonna do whenever I take my tank up for the lip and crack to be welded.. just add a bar and fibeglass it up.

I do like guru's tho, and it'll be fine with the foam in it. Plus I'm sure it was prolly easier to shape alot of little bands than one big one piece the way the tank is rounded.
